The National Whippet Club of Canada
NWCC was formed in 1992 and received official Club recognition from the Canadian Kennel Club in 1993.
The objectives of the Club are to: (1) Promote activities pertaining to the Whippet breed across Canada, ie. racing, showing, coursing, obedience, rescue, flyball, agility, health education, and any other activity that may be undertaken with regard to Whippets. (2) To encourage members to respect and adhere to the breed standard as approved by the Canadian Kennel Club. (3) To unite Whippet enthusiasts from coast to coast for mutual support and benefit of the breed.
